i just got back from one of the best experiences of my life and i cant believe its over>
i didnt want to use the computer because i didnt want to reenter “reality”> i didnt want to come back to america< the land of “fuck offs” and aggressive driving> thailand is a place where when you smile at someone you are greeted with a big (usually brown) smile right back> you are stared at but not in a hurtful way> no one wears shoes or needs tv or a computer> it is natural and friendly and homey> you are not stuck in the entrapments of technology or materialism or expectations> you do what you can and help when you can> i dont want to get stuck in that old world> i dont want to forget this> i literally do not know what to do with myself here>
